Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a speech therapist?

Yes. Speech therapist is another word for a speech-language pathologist (or SLP for short). Learn more about what I do.

Do you take insurance?

We are an in-network provider for BlueCross BlueShield of Texas, BCBS Medicaid (Star, Chip), and Traditional Medicaid. We are an out-of-network (OON) provider for other insurance plans. You may opt to pay privately for a prompt pay discount at time of service.

*Please note that not all services we provide will be eligible for reimbursement. For example, consultative phone calls to physicians or teachers are not typically reimbursable by insurance.

Can we use our HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) to pay for services?

Yes, the majority of our services can be paid via your HSA or FSA account. Any service that would typically be reimbursable by insurance would be eligible.

What other methods of payment are accepted?

Cash, checks, and credit/debit cards are all acceptable forms of payment. We use a HIPAA compliant credit/debit card payment system which is integrated within our client portal and electronic medical record system. Payments are due at time of service or may be paid in advance. A credit/debit card will be required to be kept on file regardless of payment method.

What are your rates?

**Please note that your actual out-of-pocket costs will vary depending on insurance coverage. Many families are only responsible for 10-20% of total rates with insurance (or sessions only cost whatever your typical copay would be). Learn more about speech therapy costs and why rates are set the way that they are.

Evaluations are $300. You will be provided with a comprehensive report and plan of care.

Treatment sessions are $123 per treatment type. *Prompt pay discounts available. Contact for rates.
